Another vote for the Grand Lux Cafe in the Venetian. We also enjoyed Rum Jungle at Mandalay Bay - but don't miss out on the huge, sweeeet, chocolate-covered strawberries! Best ones were at the Bellagio; also found at the Venetian.

No it doesn't, unless you go to a tourist trap on the Champs Elysees. A coffee usually runs €1.50-€2-ish. ($2-$2.70)"
===
what size is the cup? I get a 12oz at DD for $2.95, a small Espresso @ Starbucks is $5. A large pizza(18") on my block is $12; at Dominos their large is 16" for $14.95.

"My grandma was a class A cook, my mom is maybe a B. I am sure between the both of them they could cook up anything on any menu in Vegas given all the ingredients+tools+time."
POMAH, couldn't we all?

Another vote for In n' Out Burger! We ate our wedding night dinner there and could not have been happier. It was very tasty and a steal by Vegas standards. 2 double burgers (1 with cheese and bacon), 2 fries and 2 milkshakes- $13.
I HEART blizz. It is a frozen yogurt (must be full fat because froyo hating husband loved it too) buffet. Tons of flavors, tons of toppings, make your own. It was in the Mirage near the entrance to the dolphin zoo.
I thought Burger Bar was over rated by far. It tastes good (not outstanding) but is SO GREASY it gave me a stomach ache for the rest of the afternoon. I thought In n' Out tasted better and did not give me a stomach ache.

The following are only in Vegas as far as I know or hard to find elsewhere.
If price is no object:
Kraftsteak in MGM is as close to divine eating experience as I have ever found.
Sambas in Mirage best for Brazilian Steak Houses
Prime in Bellagio is close 2nd or third to Kraftsteak for steaks
If you want prices that are not too bad:
Circus Circus Steak House (incredible value and very very good food, often cited in top 10 best steak houses in Vegas)
For Desserts:
Max Brenner in Caesers Forum Shops (Chocolate Heaven)
Jean-Philippe in the Belagio (one of the largest chocolate fountains in the world)
Some hidden gems:
Nordstrom Cafe (inside Nordstroms at Fashion Show Mall) they serve you these free Popovers with Strawberry Butter which is fantastic, prices are reasonable as well.
Pizza Place at Wynn: Great place to get reasonable food situated right next to a beautiful waterfall. Good ambience.
Off the Strip:
Paymons Mediteranean Cafe: famous for their Athens fries
Noras Italian Cucina: Good prices Great italian
Rosemarys: Great food

janisj on Mar 26, 11 at 12:49 PM Anyone who compares a Dominos pizza to a cafe in Paris (the real Paris) says more about themselves than about travel costs . . . just sayin'
===
Again, what size is the cup and what type of coffee?
It's like saying you got a large pizza pie(10") for $15, and I got a pie(12") for $10. Got it now?
