What to eat and where to get it INSIDE Fenway Park!! Anything special??
My husband and I are taking our son to Fenway (his Christmas present) for a Sox game over Memorial Day weekend. I really want to eat inside Fenway and need to know if there is anything specific or anywhere specific that we should eat? Are there sit down restaurants inside? I would love to hear your recommendations. Thank you so much.

You may get a different response from someone who has been there recently, but up until 2002 it was just standard concession stands and a few local concessions. From my childhood until the early 21st century I spent countless nights (and a few afternoons) at Fenway. There are many fine places to eat in the area, but no sit down restaurants in Fenway. This is one old ballpark, and that's part of its charm. Unlike some of the newer parks, you won't get too much upscale dining in Fenway. The Fenway Franks strike me as better than the average ball park hot dogs (incidentally, I only eat hot dogs at baseball games), and the best regional item would be the clam chowder from Legal SeaFoods. Based on current trends, pray that you see Schilling, Beckett, or (maybe) Wakefield as your starting pitcher. It's the best baseball park in America to see a game (with the best team), but I'd go elsewhere for the best food

They've added some new concourses with a larger choice of food options. I'd recommend grabbing a hotdog at RemDawg's on Yawkey Way before the game. Jerry Remy is our beloved broadcaster, and the stand is located right behind the outdoor booth where they do the pregame show.
