What to do in New Orleans

Regarding the cemetery tours, we went on a tour that told the story of a Creole family that included a tour of the St. Louis No. 1 cemetery. We were worried about all the warnings we'd heard about not going into the cemetery ourselves. But, on a Saturday afternoon the place was filled with tour groups. Another guide was telling a story that interested us a bit more than ours, so we listened in. Afterward, we decided that if one wants to go into the cemetery on a Saturday afternoon when it is loaded with tourists, you would be perfectly safe. During the evening, or perhaps on a weekday it might not be advised. But the idea that we were not safe in these large crowds of tourists was kind of laughable.
