My favorite vacation drink would have to be Lava Flows - nothing else says Hawaii quite like those yummy concoctions!

Oh my, what an interesting thread. Nearly 20 years ago I was vacationing in Greece and drank my first B-52(with fire added) before the night ended, I was dancing on top of the bar and buying B-52s for "all my friends" actually, total strangers in the bar. I really miss...
Looking Glass martinis in Chicago
Parrot Bay (mango or pineapple)in Virginia Beach
Tequila Sunrise in Mexico
Metaxa and Sambuca in Greece. Wow, later today I'm going to play "vacation" and fix myself a tall Parrot Bay(pineapple)w/orange juice. Yummy!

A glass of pastis always reminds me of Paris. When in Mexico, a Micha-Lata (sp?) is a great way to beat the heat. A Micha-Lata is beer on ice with the glass 1/4 filled with lime juice and rimmed with salt.

As much as I like a good Lava Flow, a Pink Panther (non-alcoholic, ice cream shake) on the upper deck at Brennecke's overlooking the park and the sea is Kauai.

I usually don't drink mixed drinks... prefer wine & beer, but it was very hot in New Orleans, and we stopped at Jimmy Buffet's for a couple of frozen Margaritas. They were great! We made some when we returned home, and it took us right back Beaujolais always reminds me of our first trip to Paris, as that was the first time we tried it. It's still my favorite wine.
