What is your favorite HI island and why?
Hoping to go this summer taking two teens for the first time. Not quite sure which two islands to do. Going for probably 8 or 9 days. Thinking Maui for sure, and then one other island.
Which one is your favorite and why?

Gotta go with Oahu. I live in NYC and I just get bored in all that wide open space on the outer islands, its wonderful for a bit, even renewing but I much prefer the hustle and bustle of a metropolitan environment for long term stays.
I feel like you have the best of both worlds on Oahu. You might be able to see and international performance like Marcel Marso at the blaisdale and you can wonder in openness on the North shore during your day.
Kind of want to say I can stay busy on the those BEAUTIFUL outer islands but truth be told they would drive me batty on a regular basis.
