Going to Las Vegas. Do not want to hunt a cocktail waittress for a drink while I give away my money. Also would like the less watered down variety.

www.cheapovegas.com has some good capsule reviews of the hotels and casinos, including cocktail service.

Steve - every waitress in Vegas will cater to your every drink need and you will NEVER be lacking refreshment if you follow one simple rule...

The Secret Rule... TIP Heavy! If you throw her at least a $5 chip for every drink, you will be in alcohol heaven!!!

Otherwise stand in line and wait with the other no-tip, 50cent-tip, and dollar-tip losers who expect superior service without putting out.

As you say..."while I give away my money"... give some of it to your server, and you will get more drinks than you can handle... be a shooter!

While a 5 spot is a bit over doing it per drink, be sure to throw something their way. I have always recieved the best service at the Bellagio. The girls even come around the .25 and dollar slots.

Never had a problem getting a drink at Bellagio. But with any casino, you tip them, they come back. You don't tip them, they go first to the guy who does.

But beware of "Leonard Tose Syndrome."

I find that tipping the waitress a couple bucks before she brings your first drink will keep her coming. You should, of course, continue to do this every time. $2.00 per drink is a hell of lot cheaper than paying at the bar, where they will charge you about $6.00 per watered down drink.
