What are you doing on Mother's day?

I'm presenting myself with a gift - one-day bus tour of Yosemite out of San Francisco. Shame on me, it will be my very first visit. So this year I've decided to go to see the beauty, doesn't matter what. And according to the advices on this forum the best time is April-May when the waterfalls are at their fullest.

What are you doing this weekend?

My husband and I will be spending the weekend at Half Moon Bay, and then taking our moms out to lunch on Sunday.

I'm heading to visit the out-laws and hang a garage door opener. Will probably spring for brunch on Sunday morning. Lucky me.

Planting the garden with my neighbors! The weather just refused to warm up and stop raining until now-so we'll have tomatoes & squash thru November this year. We'll plant till we're silly and then have a BBQ and a little Pinot Noir around the firepit as we say a toast to our moms'!

Leaving for Paris for 6 days but Saturday before my daughter is taking me on a tour of a Minneapolis house preserved in the prairie style of architecture. Excited about both.

My Mom is on a tour of Canada and my future MIL is on a cruise to Bermuda. Good for them!!

We have having a Big Turkey dinner with friends whose Moms are no longer around. It makes us appreciate our Mom even more

Maybe sleeping in and reading a book in the hammock later. Our 14 year old has pneumonia so we're pampering HIM this weekend!

Going to a barbecue -- my son-in-law is cooking dinner for his wife, his mother and his mother-in-law! Should be a great afternoon.
