West Hollywood Condo Vacation Rental???

Hi -

Any recommendations for a 1-bedroom or studio condo for a week in WeHo (Nov. 11th)? I'd prefer to spend under $1,000 and don't need anything fancy--but I'd like to be walking distance of Santa Monica Blvd. and/or Sunset.

I checked VRBO and only found one possibility that's still available. (I've found some great places in Hawaii thru VRBO.) Any other sites I should check?

Thanks!

When I run into a situation like this, I just start googling....like....West Hollywood Condo Rental...yes, just that and often come up with agencies which have rentals which suit.

Check out Craigslist for Los Angeles and narrow down the search by entering West Hollywood. Here's one I found, but not quite the location I think you want:

Thanks for the responses. NeoP -- actually the one you recommended would be a very good location--just a block from SM Blvd.

I hadn't thought of Craigslist--but I'll check it out. Of course I've heard of it but haven't used that site.

FYI, when I googled West Hollywood Condo Rental I came up with only a few agencies that all seem to have the same listings.

Duh. Yes. That IS a great location. San Vincente! I don't know why but when I saw Melrose I was thinking east of La Cienega.
This is right by the Pacific Design Center.

Will you have a car? One major issue is parking in that area.

Why don't you stay there and let us know how it is? I need a new place for the future. We loved our "cottage" we found on VRBO in Westwood near Century City last summer, but I still much prefer West Hollywood. We stayed at Summerfield Suites between Santa Monica Blvd. and Sunset for years -- sometimes for a month -- loved the location, but then they changed hands and doubled their prices. . .
