Weekend trip - how far will you drive?

I'm curious to hear everyone's opinions regarding weekend (2 night) trips. What is the distance (or how many hours) that you consider too far to drive?
Thanks

Three hours is our max, but we usually try to keep it at two. Come to think of it we only do three if there is football involved

I often travel around Texas on weekends, and 4 hours is about average for these trips. A day trip needs to be under 2 hours' drive.

We've gone to Yosemite National Park for the day, which is a 4 hour drive (one way) for us. We've done it for a weekend too but prefer at least 3 nights so we have 2 full days there.

I live in western Nebraska where we think nothing of driving 4 hours roundtrip to shop for the day, then drive home that night. For weekend trips, 6 hours one way to our state capital (Lincoln) is not a big deal, especially if it's for a Husker football game

Thanks for the responses!
Yahoo maps tells me that my intended destination is 316 miles away and a 5 hr 9 min ride. Still debating...

150 miles tops for a 2 day weekend trip. If 3 or 4 days I'll go 200-250 miles.

4 hours is the max for me but I live in the Northeast and can get a lot of places in 4 hours. My sister who lives in CO mountains drives 2 hours to Denver just to go to a Dr.'s appointment. She will drive 8 hours without a thought.
