Weekend Family Trip From Atlanta

My husband and I are looking to get away from Atlanta for the weekend with our 1 year old son. We are not sure where we should go since we are taking a one year old - any ideas?

Thanks!

I think Chattanooga is a great place to go from Atlanta. With the aquarium, incline railway, riverboat, etc. you cant miss! Lots of things he would be interested. Check out the www.chattanoogafun.com website for more info.

You can try the Murphy, NC area, 2 hours north of ATL. You can visit mountain lakes and feed the geese, go on the GSM Railroad, sit beside the river and let him dangle his feet in the water, etc. Any more questions, you can email me.

FYI - the train ride from Bryson City - Nantalaha is nicer than the Dillsoboro -Bryson City portion.
