Weekend Brunch

What's a good place for brunch this weekend in New York, good food but not dressy? I was thinking of Balthzar and would welcome opinions as well as other sugestions. We will be staying on Central Park South.

We really like Rue 57 on the corner of 57th and 6th. Fabulous menu, moderate prices. Especially nice at a sidewalk table on a nice day.

The Essex House on Central Park South serves a wonderful brunch, both on Saturday & Sunday. We go there often.

Leona: Is the brunch at the Essex House a la carte or a buffet? About how much does it run?

Rue 57 is very good and I was there one time while Nancy Reagan was eating.

My fave is The Cupping Room or Blue Ribbon Bakery.
