Poconos-Alone for the weekend

I will be in the Philly area and want to get to the Poconos for the weekend. I am a single female that likes to hike and woudl not mind a place that has yoga, spa like.

Questions:
How do I get there? How long of a drive?
Where should I stay?
Where should I go to hike? Is there a place that has guides and set hikes?
What woul you do it you were me?

Try Deerfield Spa in Shroudsburg, poconos http://www.deerfieldspa.com/ They got a good review in Zagat. Other than that, I found the Poconos cheesy
Two hours from Philadelphia is Felicita Spa, which got a very good review in the Washingtonian Magazine, http://www.felicitaresort.com/

The Poconos is a rather large area, so driving times can vary. Most drives start from Center City on I-76 West and then take I-476 North.

The Jim Thorpe area has some nice hikes, and especially nice bike riding options overlooking the Lehigh River gorge (you can rent bikes in town). This is about an hour and a half from Philly. Not too much farther along is Hickory Run State Park - there is a large boulder field there which is on the list of national natural landmarks.

Closer to the Delaware Water Gap (maybe 2.5 hrs from Philly), there are some very pretty waterfalls. Bushkill Falls is very scenic and has several hikes. The touristy area outside the falls is kind of cheesy, but it's beautiful once you get into the falls area. You won't be disappointed. The Appalachian Trail also goes through this area so there are many hiking options.
