Sunday lunch in Le Marais

I arrive in Paris on a Sunday, staying in the Marais for the first time. Assuming I'll be a bit tired and jet-lagged I'll probably not want to wander too far for a light lunch.

Recommendations anyone?

Thanks.

We enjoyed Chez Marianne, 2 rue des Hospitalières-St-Gervais, in the 4th arrondissement.
It's a very popular deli/ restaurant with great sampler platters of things like hummus, fried eggplant, and falafel, and it 's open on Sunday.

One of my favorite places is small & cheap & provides light lunches: Nectarine. I lunched here in April 2003 & just 2 weeks ago. I love it.

Ohmigod, the Pom' Cannelle dessert was soo wonderful!

Eventually, I'll post photos. Still suffering jetlag.

Try Ma Burgoyne, 19 Place des Vosges.

I will echo Flyboy, Ma Bourgogne.
And after you have a bite , walk over to the Park, right there in the middle of the Place des Vosge and sit on a bench and listen to the birds, the children and hopefully, the opera singer, practicing in the apt building.

Yes, I vote for Ma Bourgogne. If you can do try to have lunch at an outdoor table under the arcades if it's not too cold. The view of the Place des Vosges while having lunch is fantastic, memorable. But do remember to bring enough cash as Ma Bourgogne is on a cash only basis.
