We were in Seattle for four days and three nights and really enjoyed our stay at the Edgewater Hotel.
Highlights of Seattle were: Pike Place Market, the Space Needle, Pioneer Square, riding the monorail and a ferry ride to Bainbridge Island.
We enjoyed meals at Salty's in Alki Beach, the Flying Fish and Dahlia Lounge. This summer we will try some new restaurants and stay at the Fairmont Olympic then head up to Canada for a week or so. Seattle is a beautiful city! ***kim***

If you are even casual baseball fans, I would recommend a trip to Safeco Park to catch a Mariner's game. Its a beautiful park - the nicest I've been to. There are great views from the concourses of Puget Sound, the food is varied and interesting, you can stand by the bullpen and watch the pitchers warm up. If you are very casual fans, then buy the cheapest seats possible and don't sit in them. Just wander around the park and check things out.

ita, The Glass Museum is one of the places on my list if we get to go back to the Portland/Seattle area this summer!

They will be closed on Tuesdays but that should not be a problem ~

I also just have to mention that the Museum of Flight in Seattle is now (IMO but not just me) second only to the Smithsonian in the US for air/space museums. The "personal courage" wing (WW I and II fighters) is wonderful.

Without knowing your interests, it is hard to really give suggestions.
However, I definitely agree with the ballgames at Safeco Field and the Museum of Flight...both are amazing places that we spent a lot of time at. If you take in a ballgame though, the stadium can get chilly so take a coat or lightweight blanket with you.

I should clarify something too about Safeco Field...the roof is retractable, so if it is rainy, they will close the roof. So the games are fun to go to regardless of the weather (if you like baseball, that is).
