WDW rides for age 60

My husband & I will be spending our anniversary in WDW for 7 days this August. Are there any rides that we MUST NOT take for health reasons? I have a neck problem & he has a back problem. Both are not severe. Thanks for whatever input you can give us.

I'd buy or borrow a copy of the "Unofficial Guide to WDW." The author rates every ride and attraction by age group.

People can have neck and back problems at any age. And there are plenty of people over 60 without these problems. This isn't really an age-related issue, is it?

Most of the rides that are heavy on the jostling will post a warning. If pregnant women aren't supposed to ride, you probably won't want to either!

In particular, I'd stay away from "simulator" stuff, such as Star Wars, Body Wars, etc. You'll want more of the smooth story-telling rides, such as Spaceship Earth at Epcot and the Great Movie Ride at MGM.

Other rides I think you'd find particularly pleasant at MK include Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mainsion, It's a Small World, and Buzz Lightyear.

Nice, "cool" lunches can be found at The Sea pavillion dining room at Epcot by the huge acquarium, the Diamond Horseshoe Review at MK, the Sci Fi Diner at MGM, and the Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Just one other tip for any age during the summer: beware of the effects of the heat! Wear sunscreen and a hat, and drink LOTS of water. Also bring at least two pairs of VERY comfortable sneakers/sandals.

Happy Anniversay, and have a great trip!
