Water Temps on Maui
My friend and I will be in Maui January 18 - 26. Can someone tell me what the water temps will be like at that time of year? We're used to the bathtub-like waters of the caribbean and are worried Hawaii water will be much colder and darker. Thanks!

We just got back from a stay at the Ritz. You definately HAVE to be a guest to use the hotel pools-why do you think guests pay $300+ per night? I would not like it if other people used the pool and were not staying there.Just being honest. Go to the beautiful beaches instead-all public.

What you are proposing is called trespassing and is a prosecutable offense.
If I'm staying at a $300+ a night resort then I'm paying a good deal of money for that pool access.
I catch someone stealing the hotel's services you can bet I'm reporting them and having them thrown out.
