Walt Disney Accomodation
we are looking at booking a two bedroom condo in the Reunion Resort in january this year. we will spend 4 days at WDW and one day at the Space Centre. Is it a good location? It looks nice. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 boys 10 and 12yrs. your feedback would be appreciated.

I am personally not familiar with this resort, however, in looking at their location, it appears that they might be a bit too distant. Their web site says that they are "15 minutes from Walt Disney World®". This is approximately 15 miles. If you are going to spend four days at WDW, you might want to be a little closer, even on Disney property. If I were a visitor to WDW, I would stay no farther away than Kissimmee on U.S. highway 192 and preferably on Disney property.

I agree with Orlando_Vic. I suggest that you check www.disboards.com. There is a sub-board there about staying off-site with lots of suggestions about condos.

We drive over from Tampa a lot. On I-4 heading east, Reunion is around exit 58-60, I recall. The first Disney exit, the one we take is exit 62. That one would run right into the Magic Kingdom (MK). I would think MK is about 4-6 miles off of I-4. We go around 6am, so there isn't "too much" traffic. But I can see when it could get jammed. I don't know if there are "back roads" from Reunion to WDW.
If you are looking at a condo and want to stay within Disney, look into renting one of the Disney Vacation Club (DVC) Villa's. Those that aren't rented by DVC members are put into the pool. They are now all over Disney. We rented a 2-bedroom villa at the Boardwalk a few years ago and it was marvelous.
Here is another Disney board that has loads of info:

We rented a house a couple of times in that general vicinity (on the other side of I-4, near the Championsgate Resort). The access to WDW is not bad from there, but we felt like we were a ways away from things--not a lot of stores and restaurants in that immediate vicinity (but near Championsgate there is a grocery store, drugstore and a few restaurants).
We love staying on property but we have the advantage of being able to stay at Shades of Green. If you don't want to pay the extra to stay closer, and you don't plan to be eating out near your condo (you can eat in or near WDW and mostly sleep at the condo) you'll be fine. The water park looks like fun.

TripAdvisor shows a place called Ginn Reunion Resort in Celebration. Is that what you're referring to?
If so, I don't think it would be that far. The reviews all seemed fairly positive.
The only benefit of switching to a WDW resort is the ability to not have to drive to and from the parks with the resulting parking costs.
In terms of a town, I think Celebration is a nice base.
