Walk from Venetian to Mirage?

...but they do provide lots of places to cross the streets also.
Crossing Las Vegas Boulevard between the Venetian and Mirage is fairly easy, but, when I visited Las Vegas in May, 200, I found walking around the Strip to be a real chore and I found way too few places to cross the main drag.
For instance, staying at the Monte Carlo, we had to walk a mile to get to the Walgreens directly across the street.

As the post above suggests, you can see where you want to go, you just cannot always get there! There is a real crosswalk at the Flamingo over to Caesar's---as opposed to the elevated stair things that make you walk way out of your way. You will be overshooting your destination, but it may be less hassle. However, the unknown in your query is when this will be. In the 108 degree heat, it may be moot unless you are very hardy types.
And you cannot cross safely anywhere else but crosswalks. A ticket for jaywalking is the least of your worries! Getting mowed down is at least as likely as the ticket!

I saw that post, but when I looked at my cheapo vegas map, they did not seem to be across from each other. However, I was not thinking clearly and you are, of course, correct. If one can get to the other side of the strip right at the Venetian, then at least it is the proper side of the street to be on and no need for further crossing strategies! I was just remembering how much planning went in to *where* to cross the last time we were there!

I once found a great kind of "cartoon" map that showed all the pedestrian bridges, but now I can't find it. But in googling for it I found that there is now a pedestrian bridge from the Palazzo at The Venetian to Treasure Island -- and the Mirage is right next door to Treasure Island. That was on the Treasure Island website, so they should know!

I stayed at TI last month. It is right next door to the Mirage. Venetian is across the street. There is a pedestrian bridge between TI and Mirage that goes right to the Venetian.
The above posters are right, don't even try to jaywalk. They are putting up big fences up to keep people from doing that too. Too many people get injured seriously if not killed from jaywalking.
Have a great trip! I'm going in Nov, too!

You'll find them on the Vegas Strip between the Tropicana, New York-New York, the MGM and the Excalibur at Las Vegas Boulevard and Tropicana, between the Bellagio, Caesars Palace, Bill's Gamblin' Hall & Saloon and Bally's at Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo and between Mirage and The Venetian.
