SUNSET

Remember that sunset means that - the sun has already set. The best part of the sunset is that hour before it actually disappears.

I found that once the sun got about 3/4 of the way down the sky, it disappeared fast. I later saw an article about it - it disappears fast due to Hawaii's position.

If you are at a nice restaurant (hence looking better than having just snorkeled), you may want to take photos with that sunset. I noticed that the "professional" photographers at the restaurants always have the couple face each other with their arms around each other's waist. It worked for us, but we took turns with other folks taking the picutres for each other. Also...off subject, while we were at the most incredible water/cliff spot north of Waikiki (or anywhere we were in Hawaii last year for that matter), we ran into a professional wedding photographer who was stopping for the view too. She offered to take our photos with our camera - yes, of course, the best photos of the trip.
