Last summer we walked over to it from "downtown" Westwood thinking we'd have lunch there. The place is off in a nice shady residential (apartment buildings) neighborhood. Like most things in LA, you drive everywhere so the location doesn't mean all that much. Not much close to walk to. We ended up not having lunch there because it was just after 1 and there were exactly two people in the entire restaurant. Just seemed too dead for us.

It used to be called the Marquis. My friend, who lives in Westwood had a little problem with the heater in her home, and booked in there for 2 nights at the last minute. She said the place is incredible -- all suites, plenty of room for her and her two kids. Got a really good price. She said the only downside was the exhorbitant price for room service. Two desserts cost $30.
It is located in Westwood Village, so you have all of Westwood to shop. If you don't have a car (bad idea), you can take the Blue Bus on Wilshire Blvd. to the beach or in the opposite direction to Beverly Hills. Beverly Hills is about a 10 minute bus ride, and the beach is about 15 minutes.
