Visiting Williams College - what airport to fly into?

Hello - we'll be visiting williams college and need to get some advice on which airport is better to fly into and out of; it will be a 4 day/night visit so any ideas on good restaurants and lodging will also be appreciated! thanks -

Albany, NY would be closest. You could also fly to Bradley Field in Hartford and drive up.

Albany, NY would be the closest airport, but there are very few flights there. I guess Hartford, CT, might be the next-closest airport. After that, perhaps Boston or Stewart Airport (in Westchester, NY), but then it would be a 2-hour drive, though I'm sure Boston has the cheapest flights.

Where are you coming from? Bradley is the most likely airport (It's north of Hartford, not far from the Mass. line), but not if you can fly non-stop to somewhere else, e.g., Manchester or Boston.

We'll be coming from Chicago so lots of options for airlines and departures; it will be in late February so i would prefer not to be driving several hours in bad conditions (our last trip was to hartford and we were stuck for an additional day in there this year) - its for a collegiate conference swim meet.

Albany has several flights a day from Chicago, on AA, UAL (O'Hare) and Southwest (Midway). Sounds like a no brainer to me.
