Visiting team hotel when playing the Yankees?
I'm traveling to see my Minnesota Twins play at Yankee Stadium this July. Does anyone know at which hotel the team stays when they are in town for a baseball series?

All the teams use different hotels - depending on who they have special discounts with. I VERY much doubt that the team will give out this info. I suggest searchin blogs about the team - that sort of thing often shows up there.
If desperate call the likely hotels (I know in NYC there are dozens) asking for the name of a trainer or something - they won;t tell you the team is there and they usually won't respond if you use high profile players names.

Sorry - the San Carlos is the "official" tream of the Yankees - but I think this is ust an advertising arrangement. And doubt players will stay at a hotel at that level.
Teams generally use large high profile chain hotels - Hyatt, Westin, JW Marriott - etc.

dknudsen: Without being too specific, I can say I have direct knowledge of MLB teams and their travel operations. It's no big secret where the various teams stay, and a call to the Twins' PR staff should get the information you need. (Just let them know you're a true fan and don't plan on being a super-pest or stalker or anything). If for some reason (unlikely), the PR staff doesn't cooperate, then call the Minneapolis paper's sports department (not on deadline) and hope to get a friendly response. (In my day, a couple of decades ago, most all the AL teams in New York stayed at a Sheraton in Midtown. Perhaps they still do.)

Any process server should be able to help you...
And you can start with the Yankees who are disguised as a winning ball club.
