Vegas Shows? Danny Gans, Clint Holmes?

Hi,
Just booked a weekend in Vegas at the Venetian...now I'd like to book a show. Is Danny Gans worth a $100? (We have 2 teens with us...) What about Clint Holmes, or even Legends in Concert or Beatles Tribute?
I've seen Mama Mia and Jubilee. We all really like music.
Thanks!

I would go with "O" at the Bellagio or Mystere (Mirage)---these shows will be great for you and your teens. Danny Ganns is good, but your kids might not recognize a lot of the people he's impersonating.

How about Sir Elton John at Caesar's, depending on the dates you're in Vegas (while Céline Dion is on vacation)? Or "Mystère" or "O"? Or Blue Man Group? These are a few things that I'd choose well ahead of the acts you mention.

Danny Gans will be doing impressions of people your kids will never have heard of (although capably done). Clint Holmes had a Top 10 hit about a million years ago. I'm sure he works in some of those hip tunes for the kids, ha ha (yeah, I can see him doing a rap tune about "chillin' wit' some shorties on the Down Low...").

Have you looked at what might be going on at the Palms? They might have someone cool there.

great advice so far, thanks! rjw, elton isn't performing the nights we're there, unfortunately. (I mistakenly said weekend, but it's two weekday nights)
I will check out "O" and Mystere, too.
Thanks!

Clint Holmes is very enjoyable though his music is mostly Sinatra era, don't think your kids would enjoy it too much. They would probably like Legends much more. As for Danny Gans, I wasn't wowwed by him and not worth $100 in my opinion.

PS, if you're willing to spend the $100 Mystere is your best choice like mentioned above.

We paid OVER $100 for Danny Gans a few New Year's Eves back and we never laughed once. We thought it was the worst show we've ever seen in Vegas, we felt completely ripped off. I too would opt for Mystere. Incredible.

Just to clarify a prior post--Mystere is at Treasure Island, not Mirage.

Check out the afternoon magic shows. There's one at The Tropicana (I think it is) and there's another one starrring Mac (Somebody) that's a hoot.
