Vegas - Shows

Ok - Need advice on a short girl's trip. I have two nights/three days in Vegas. We have tickets to see Celine. Staying at Bellagio and now realize I can get good tickets to see 0. Would two shows in two nights be too much? Is O really that spectacular? Please share experiences on both. Thanks!

Went to see "O" with 3 other adults and one young teenage boy. We all thought it was THE BEST show we had ever seen & we've seen it all!

Don't miss O. It is a wonderful show and this is great opportunity to see it, while staying at the hotel. This is also a show that is based in Las Vegas and will not be traveling to other cities. Have a great trip.

2 shows in 2 nights is definitely not overkill. After all, it's Vegas, baby! If you can get tickets to O, do it. It is truly is THAT spectatular, as stated by the other posters. It's the only show in Vegas that has left me speechless, and that's quite a feat!

I've mentioned it before, but I prefer the balcony seats to the orchestra level. I think you have a better view to see all that happens on the stage, as well as in the air. Plus, it's a total trip to see the stage moving and filling with water. Just a thought!

If you're concerned about not having enough time for the Vegas night life by seeing 2 shows, get tickets to the earlier O show. That leaves you time to go out afterward. BTW- I haven't seen the Celine show, but hear it's excellent and well worth the money if you're a fan. Have a great time!

Go to see "O", agree with the previous posters it is the most spectacular show imaginable. The show sells out so call now. If you cannot get tickets today, keep trying and they have a cancellation line just before showtime.

There are not enough words to describe O. Don't miss it. I will definitely surpass the Celine show.

I want to thank everyone who recommended we see "O" while in Vegas. We had the most spectacular weekend. I was really torn about spending the money on two shows back-to-back but it was worth every dime. We had seats in the fifth row and we both loved every minute of it. I took my mom and now we have some great memories. Neither one of us could believe how amazing it was. It literally took my breath away at times. So glad we didn't miss it!!!

Celine was fabulous also. I can't say enough about what a tremendous talent she is. I'm telling you, she brought tears to my eyes. She has the most beautiful voice.

Jbee, I took your recommendation on "Prime" from some other posts. We loved that too! It is a beautiful room, great food, outstanding service. Ate at Olives which we liked a lot, but after Prime the service just didn't compare. Have to say too that the ice cream at Bellagio is the best thing I have ever tasted in my life. I would go back just for the ice cream.

Had a fountain view room at the Bellagio which was really nice, the spring flower display was amazing, we had beautiful weather, and best of all we got home safe! Thanks again for all the tips here on Fodors.

I'm glad you had such a great trip! Prime is definitely my "ace in the hole". When I have to plan a special occasion, we always go there. It's a good thing my DH loves steak!

Your post brought up 2 new things for me in Vegas- Celine and ice cream @ the Bellagio. Did you get gelato at the shop across from the pool? We were going to stop after the Monet exhibit a few weeks ago, but the line was out the door. If it's really that great, I guess I'll have to stand in the line!

I have downloaded the seating plan and would greatly appreciate advice on where the best seats in the house are for "O" ? Thank you for your help.

My favorite seats are center about 10-15 rows up from the stage. Sitting too close decreases your perspective and there are things going on overhead and off to the side that are hard to appreciate from too close.

Jbee, Yes...the shop across from the pool is the spot. I had "Snickers" and it was to die for. I don't splurge on sweets very often, so I savored every bit! Go see Celine. The production itself was very good but she is the real star. She gave a powerful performance. We didn't have fabulous seats but it was still awesome. Got to see a lot of what was happening on the stage. I would see her again but only if I could get the best seats for a closer look. Thanks for all your Vegas info. I went back and read a lot of your posts before our trip. Much appreciated.
