Vegas Nightlife
Hi everyone. My friends and I are trying to look into good clubs or lounges that aren't as mainstream as Pure, Ra, etc. in Vegas. I'd hate to spend most of my night waiting in a line and spending an insane amount on drinks and cover. I expect to have to shell out money, but just not that much. Any ideas? Thanks!

Get your group on the list. Call ahead and tell some story or even stop by early and talk to someone there. Be persuasive.
Or, stay at a hotel with good options, for example the Wynn, and ask for VIP entry to Lure & Tryst.
Supply & demand -- the best clubs and lounges attract the most people, a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Last week Tao had an EXTREMELY long line for "general admission," as did Tryst.
But both had very short VIP or "on the list" lines.
Even if you're not staying at a given club's resort, you can approach the front desk or concierge and ask for a VIP admission pass. If you do it right, you have a better than even chance of scoring free or VIP entry.
Good luck!
