Second the vote for Mystere as 1st choice but if you can swing 2 shows Mama Mia would be my next choice. The best restaurants for people watching & to see & be seen are at the Bellagio, Mandalay Bay & Ceasar's Palace.

Definitely Mystere. I've seen it three times. Love it.

Breakfast buffet at Paris is very good and we love Mon Ami Gabi, also at Paris.

I am going to vegas the week after you, and we are staying at the Mirage, good rates. I think that based on what people have said here that would be your best bet, ive also heard good things about TI
Have fun!

Mama Mia and Mystere are very different types of shows. Mystere offers an incredible spectacle for the eyes, ears and imagination but doesn't contain what I would traditionally call a plot (it doesn't need one). Mama Mia, on the other hand, is more of a traditional musical with plotline, character development and--obviously--musical numbers set to Abba tunes.

Personally I prefer the wonderment of Mystere to Mama Mia. If you're a huge Abba fan, however (and prefer more traditional types of entertainment)you might enjoy Mama Mia.

Iceeu2, if you can use somebody else's computer you may want to bid again for the Venetian- somebody just got this weekend for $89/nt. Unbelieveable!

Mama Mia was great but it's not a Vegas thing. You can see it in many different places now and they even have a road show. O and Mystere are Vegas only so I'd recommend seeing either of those while in Vegas.
