Vegas Hotel

I have it narrowed down to 3 hotels for my May 2008 Vegas 21st birthday trip. Was wondering if anyone here had any thoughts about any of them.

Excalibur-heard its too much for kids
Tropicana
Flamingo

Out of the ones you mentioned, the Flamingo. A very good location and pool complex for a 21st birthday/

The locations favored by your age group would be the Palm, Rio, and Hard Rock.

From your list I would vote Tropicana.

I agree with prior post. For 21st birthday better choices would be Palms and Hard Rock. Also Mandalay Bay attracts a young crowd and is a good hotel.

Sorry, must agree with the others, for your 21st, the Palms, Rio, or Mandalay Bay. I'd suggest that if you don't plan to sleep that much, then the hotel isn't the issue here - it's that you're booked into the hot clubs (Rain) (Pure).... That's often more difficult and takes some planning.

i took everyones advice and looked into the Palms...the nights we are going are between 110 and 130 and we were hoping to stay under 100 as all the other ones I mentioned were. But thank you for your input.

Jame,
Then you should stay at either the Flamingo-very central location, close to Tao(Venetian also new Palazzo), Harrah's has a fabulous and fun outdoor entertainment party bar, and clubs at Mirage and TI almost across the street-or Luxor, which has a new club LAX and lots going on right next door at Mandalay Bay. Flamingo would be my 1st choice for location. Ahhh to be 21 again, have a great time!!!

There is nothing wrong with the Tropicana pool for a 21st birthday group. I would not recommend the garden rooms since they are the older motel style rooms.

The games are cheaper at the Tropicana than most strip casinos.

You may stay there you don't have to party there.
