Vail Dining Choice

Heading to Vail next month and would like some suggestions for a good restaurant. So far, I'm considering Larkspur and Kelly Liken. Heard Terra Bistro and Sweet Basil are overrated.
Would like something with creative fare.
Any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks,
Annie

All the restaurants you mentioned are excellent. I've been to all of them except for Larkspur. However, I think Kelly Liken may be my new favorite restaurant in Vail. Went once in January and made a return visit in March. The menu changes frequently depending on what is fresh at that particular time of year and the servers are friendly and helpful with suggestions. Actually I don't think you can go wrong with any of your choices. If interested, you might want to check out Grouse Mountain Grill or Splendido in Beaver Creek.

From a Vail Local> I, personnaly like all the restaurants that have been recommended/mentioned here. I have a few favorites which aren't as well known but always wonderful: La Tour, Balata (in Singletree 10 minutes west of Vail) Timber Hearth in Cordillera. If creative fare is your goal, I think Kelley Liken takes the cake! Check out www.snow.com to check on events during your stay! ENJOY!!

Are you looking for dinner choices, or lunch? I would be interested in good restaurants for lunch in Vail, too.

Had lunch at Sweet Basil last summer and, despite the rumor that it is overrated, the food and the service were fabulous,at least for that lunch.
