Vacation Withdrawal
Does anyone else suffer from vacation withdrawal after just returning from a trip? Dh & I just got back from an awesome week of snowboarding at Whistler, BC and then some time in Seattle. We had so much fun - I'm in total withdrawal now! How did I ever survive sitting 8 hrs at a desk when I could be on the mountain all day?? Getting away gives such a great perspective on your life. Now all I want to do is pack up & move out west!!

Absolutely! We were just in Florida in early March and it was really depressing to come back to the awful Michigan weather (the snow has been endless this year, more is expected tonight!). Also our 2 college age kids were able to join us and the family time was so wonderful!

I am glad I am not the only one that suffers from vacation withdrawl. When we travel I always feel depressed when we come back home. Getting away does give you a different perspective of life. I really enjoy the family time and also the time my DH and I have. Life is too short, enjoy!!!!!

I, too, suffer from withdrawal. Vacation is like a drug-the high before hand, the great feeling during, and the downer after. Sometimes i think think it's not worth the emotional roller coaster-but then I just book another trip!

SueZ - people have been saying the same thing to me!! That taste of freedom to do whatever you want all day, every day...
