utah trip
I will be traveling in late May to Zion and Bryce National Parks. I was thinking of taking a trip to Arches, but I would only have a day and a half to spend. The distance concerns me, any suggestions Thanks

A day and a half? Is that for getting there and back or to spend once you get there? How long are you spending in Bryce and Zion?
There are two routes from Bryce to Arches. Fast route is 277 miles and about 5 hours of driving time. The slow more scenic route over hwy 12 is 273 miles BUT it's a lot slower driving so plan on a little over 7 hours.
If you decide that's to far, you might consider just driving the scenic hwy 12 to Torrey, Utah and spend a day at Capitol Reef National Park.

Hi. I agree with Utahtea. We had a similar dilemma, and we saved Arches for another trip. It is just too great a distance.
Where are you flying in and out of? I'll bet we could recommend many other ways you could spend that day and half!
