Truckee area skiing for family (Green and Blue runs) - 1 more day

Hi All:

We're in Truckee with our two teenage boys (15 and 17) and did a whole day of lessons yesterday (Christmas) at Squaw Valley. It was amazing.

Tomorrow we will go snowshoeing with friends and want to do 1 more downhill day before we leave.

Looking for suggestions and hopefully not TOO crowded. Right now the leaders are Sugar Bowl and Tahoe Donner but are open to suggestions.

Many thanks!!

Tahoe Donner is really small, not very high mountains, and not very good snow conditions or base. I think it's 6 inches at the bottom.

Check out Northstar - it's where our kids learned to ski and we skiied for years. I don't know the current conditions but the area is great.

Thanks for the insight!

One reason we ruled out NorthStar is we hear it’s super busy, insanely so! Thanks for the suggestion though!
