A passport and a plane ticket will get you to Russia.

This guy, if not trolling, may be not a citizen of the US yet, and at this age drafted in the army.

One thing is for sure: his grammar is not of a native Russian speaker.

Faina I assumed it was phoney but in the off chance it's not, I thought I'd throw out an answer. BTW I have always wanted to ask you how you pronounce your name. In my head I have a pronunciation but I always wonder if it's correct!

There are two places you should check: the airline you'll be flying and the website for the Russian consulate/embassy in the US.

Airlines have different rules for what they consider to be a minor. Those rules will dictate whether you'll be able to go as intended.

Second, Russia likely has rules for entry and circumstances for minors.

Assuming this is not a troll:

Traveling out of the country by yourself at the age of 16 the airline MAY require a notarized letter of permission to leave the country from your parents.

Have no idea of the rules in Russia - you will need to check with them.

A passport from what country - citizens of US get US passports and non-citizens get Green cards - so why would you have both?

Stranger things have happened... not too long ago, was it last spring, the Florida teen ended up in Iraq..

Five year olds get the family car to convenience stores for beef jerky..

Maxim, where are you flying from?
Which area in Russia are you traveling to? Why leave this time of year, assuming you are a high school student? curiously, J.

Good points, everyone.

Max: we can better answer your questions if you give more info about yourself.
