I have always loved this thread. Thanks for bringing it back up. I did manage to dive through Plains a few years ago, but too late in the evening to do much except drive back and forth by the Carters' house a few times and stop by a gift shop on the main square.

Just heard on the radio that he taught two back to back lessons today.
The church encourages visitors.
The middle section of the sanctuary is reserved for church members. The remaining portion is seating for guests.
This is something that is important to Jimmy Carter. I think most people are comfortable following his lead on this. If there comes a time that his schedule changes, I'm sure they will reflect that on the website

Well of course the church encourages visitors. I just hope it doesn't turn into a 3 ring circus of tourists coming to see a man in his 90's who is ill, because time is running out to see him. Clearly it has begun. I mean what's the point of showing up and not wanting to be schooled? As Clark points out. To each their own. I just wouldn't be comfortable showing up this late in the game, no matter how much I admire the man.
