Treasure Island

I'm staying at the Treasure Island next week and wondered about their strip views. Does the hotel have North and South views of the strip. Trying to get an idea of what to expect. They indicated a the bay view of the strip.... HELP

Thanks.

TI is at the north end of the main strip (not including Strat, Riv and Sahara) so there's not much to see in a north view room. I would assume any "strip view" room would face south but I'm not sure.

The Las Vegas strip (Las Vegas Boulevard) continues north of TI into downtown, so the hotel still bills rooms facing the north side of the strip as "strip view". Same price, etc.
But Loki's right...you want the south strip view.
As I recall the hotel is three pronged, shaped like a peace sign without the circle. You can see the strip from many (most) of the rooms, but not unobstructed.

The rooms that face the south strip have a pretty nice view. Avoid the mountain view rooms, not so much because there's nothing to see but the freeway, but due to railroad whistles going off throughout the night -- the rooms are poorly insulted it seems.

Rooms are insulted at Treasure Island?
And what do you mean by "poorly insulted"? Stevecat I hope it's just a typo and nothing bad happened to you.

We request a strip view room in either the South or west wing at check in. They gave us one in the west wing. It was a nice view of the south strip.

Like gplimton wrote,TI,as most Vegas hotels,is three pronged so just about any view is possible. We stayed at TI and had a very nice view of the strip.

I check my rerservation and was told that our room reservation was noted as a "high floor with a view of the Mirage". I realize that's south. We're hopeful its available @ check-in. They also had the same "high floor with a view of the Pirate show. Don't think this would be the one for us. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Hi,
The rooms with a view of the Pirate Battle would also have a view of the strip. However on one wing you would be facing the strip running north ( towards the Stratosphere) and one facing southwards ( Mirage/Venetian/Paris etc)

Regards

Thanks so much to the Banking Scot... It appears that our best view is the Pirate Battle view (southward)with the Mirage/Venetian, etc.
