It's tagged Washington, DC, so maybe she means Union Station in DC?

Assuming you mean Washington Depot, CT, you can take Metro-North RR from Grand Central Terminal to Danbury, probably changing trains in South Norwalk. Then you can take a HART bus to New Milford (www.hartransit.com). From New Milford to Washington Depot, I think the only option would be a cab (or a really long 6 mile walk). If you're going midday on a weekday, you could take Metro-North to Brewster, then a HART bus to Danbury & another bus to New Milford (the train to Brewster is much more frequent and faster than the one to Danbury, but HART only goes to Brewster midday weekdays).

Can you clarify where you are trying to go? Is it Washington Depot in CT.

thanks usroadman, your details sound perfect. I won't mind the 6mile walk, but I'll check the exact distance once I get there. Yes, I am talking about washington in CT, a tiny little town.

Huh? You can't walk along busy roads in Connecticut. I can't believe you are serious about this. You'd take the train as far as you can go, and then you'd arrange a taxi or Uber. Just be aware that this will be an hours-long trip.

Um, hope you are not serous re walking from New Milford to Washington Depot. 1st you could get run over on Rte 202 then the road to WD is uphill most of the way. A steep hill.

No offense, disneygirl, but when someone writes a post as unrealistic as this, it makes me very skeptical about responding to any of their posts.

Hey I was looking for this exact same thing actually. If you don't mind me asking is this to go to the Gilmore Girls Fan Festival on October 21-23?
