Hy's Steakhouse should not be on that list unless it has to do with dessert, which are very delicious. The steaks are ok, the lobster sauce is bland, and i do not recommend the coconut soft shell crabs.

I thoroughly enjoyed 3660 on the Rise. There is not a view, but there is darn good food and a great wine list.

David Paul's Lahaina Grill was by far the best place to splurge. All the dishes were impeccable. It's supposed to be the best Maui restaurant for 13 years in a row. Also Tiger Wood's favorite restaurant in Maui, they said.

tams - dh loves Hula Grill... still talks about sitting there with his feet in the sand..been almost 12 years now!

I loved Mamma's fish house - I have not been in 12 years but have friends that have gone more recently and loved it.
