No, jorr. It is not that easy.
There are tons of posts on Alaska. How would someone new know how to look for this particular thread? And since the experts on Alaska travel all weigh in on this one, citing their favorites, it is definitely worthwhile.
Get over it.

I liked Fairbanks as well as anywhere in Alaska. We visited the museum and went to the two shows at the University - one was on the Aurora and the other was on the Eskimo games. I think the subject matter varies - these were both excellent.
The El DOrado gold mine tour was great. Best gold panning I have ever done. A few panners actually found nuggets. The talk by the two miners (man and woman) was very interesting.
The Riverboat Discovery was also a very good value.

We started at Skagway, travelled the Inside Passage - included Fords Terror and Misty Fiord - as well as going to Sitka - all on the ferry. Then we flew to Anchorage where we grabbed the car and travelled north to Fairbanks, over to Dawson City returning to Alaska via Whitehorse (had to - couldn't get back over the Top of the World Highway due to early snowfall!) - and then made our way back to Anchorage where we then included Prince William Sound and the Kenai Peninsula. So we pretty much covered a huge amount of the country. Now, do yourself a favour - get the Great Alsakan Toursaver. Website - www.toursaver.com. You will save yourself a heap of money even in the short time you are there. I must disagree with some of the posts re Denali. We were EXTREMELY disappointed with the ground component however, do yourself another favour - out of Talkeetna, you can take a flight over Denali. WELL WORTH THE MONEY - EVERY CENT! In fact, had we not done that, we would have come away with a very different opinion of Denali and yet, on the ground, we did see all sorts of animals including bears but if you are after spectacular scenery, the flight is the way to go. We managed to get a coupon in the toursaver with a pay one, get one free flight. Have a gr8 trip.
