Tony Packos in Toledo...

We will be passing through Toledo on our way to Detroit for the NAIAS show. Was thinking of stopping at Tony Packos in Toledo (made famous by Jamie Farr on MASH). Is it worth it, or is it overrated?

Tony Packo's has great Hungarian food. They are most famous for their hot dogs and chili, but also have chicken paprikash, stuffed cabbage and strudel for dessert. Their location on Front St in East Toledo has a lot of memorabilia, such as hot dog buns signed by many celebrities and dignitaries.
Give it a try!

It's a lot of fun there!! And the food is good.

I still have my Tony Packos key chain, shaped like a pickle.

What would you say is the one thing you don't want to miss at Tony Packos?

Tony Packos is great fun.
We stop there on many road trips.
Try the Chicken Paprikash (spelling?)
It is simply the best!

I wouldn't drive too far out of my way to go there, but if you are in Toledo and hungry, it is worth it. The signed hot dog buns are a bit much in my opinion.

just wondering if the construction on the maumee bay bridge will make it difficult to get to Packos?

We went to Tony Packo's yesterday evening. Very good food and fun atmosphere. We also purchased a jar of Tony Packo's Hot Salsa. I recommend everyone stop there when passing thru Toledo.

In addition to the good food, they also have a lot of M*A*S*H memorabilia and pictures on the walls.
