times square hotel

A group of 4 women friends are planning a trip to a Broadway show and overnight in NYC. We're sharing a room. Any recommendations on a hotel in the theater area that would be of decent quality and have queen-sized beds?

We like to stay at the Marriott Marquis which is right in Timnes Square. We ask for a "quiet room" facing the Hudson so the all-night activity of Timnes Square doesn't keep us up.

The rather new (1 year old) Hilton Times Square is nice as is the Doubletree which is a block from the Hilton and in Times Square as well!

Three of us stayed at the Doubletree Guest Suites...two rooms, one with two beds and the living room with a sofa bed. We also liked that the room had three sinks, two in the bathroom and one in the LR for bar area...lots faster for getting ready to go out on the town. Great location across the street from Marriott Marquis.

We just stayed at the Belvedere, on 48th. near Times Square. The price is great, we only paid $120 a night and it had two queen size beds and a kitchenette which was good for a quick breakfast or snack. We saw many women traveling in groups and we liked the location for it is surrounded by restaurants. We got it through Quickbook but it is part of the Empire Group which is on the net.
