I hear the wild
flowers
in Death Valley and S. California are really BLOOMING this year!

You could always go to the mountains where the rain turns to snow!
I was checking the 10 day forcast. Seems like the chance of showers is less likely in S. California deserts and Arizona.

Hi,
I, too, saw a piece on CBS' Sunday morning on those flowers in Death Valley! They are very beautiful.
It seems that Portland and Seattle have traded weather with California this year. We've had a very warm, dry winter. Lots of great family things to do in both cities. The Oregon Coast beaches might be an idea? What about Sun Valley, Idaho?
Best Regards
Julia

Hi razzledazzle, I really should have ordered that ark from you last night. Geez, the rain was terrible. And it is again today (with wind) and I have to go out again tonight as you do.
Suzie, I think all of us in N.CA. are ready to leave the area.
Regarding Portland, I know my family up there has complained about the lack of rain (too funny as you know how Porland is usually rainy for months).
So that is one thought as i_elzie suggested.
Or perhaps San Diego? Haven't kept up on the weather reports there however.
Whereever you decide I hope you find blue sky and sunshine! Have fun.

Raining in San Diego, too. We are close to a record amount of rain this year. You guys had the rain earlier, now it's starting here. Well my ark is heading for NYC on Thursday. Of course, it will be colder and guess what - chance of rain! Can't escape it (unless I go to Seattle).

Ah, now I know where that rain went. It stopped a couple of hours ago. So guess that N.CA sent it to San Diego and to JAX. I am sorry
, but we did need a break.
Scarlett, RazzleDazzle offered an ark here in VV but I stupidly didn't RSVP so no idea if first class is available or not.

Just looking for places where it isn't raining. No decisions made yet. Jealous that other people already have plans to get out of dodge for spring break!!! I'll probabaly end up in east bay or the foothills anyway. Pray for sun!
