Tea Party for ten in Dallas, Denton, Ft. Worth area
Several years ago I hosted a bridesmaids' luncheon at Lady Primrose. I understand it is now closed. Is there a similar site at which a tea service is offered? The group will be staying in Denton and will have transportation.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Hi cmcfong,
No personal experiences, but here are a few places I can think of:
Lavendou in Richardson: http://www.lavendou.com/tea.htm
The Dallas Arboretum offers "seasonal" tea service throughout the year, so you may be in luck if your timing coincides with their tea service: http://www.dallasarboretum.org/speci...ndshipTea.html
Breadwinners may be too casual? But I've seen bridal luncheons there and I think they can do a tea service too since it's a bakery. They have several locations. http://www.breadwinnerscafe.com/index.php
Lastly, are you opposed to hotels? I believe the Adolphus is the most traditional. http://www.hoteladolphus.com/dining

I thought the Arboretum looked like a great choice, but the tea is not offered on weekends in March. I am working on the suggestions which yk gave me, but thought I would top in case some Dallas folks might have missed this when I originally posted.

The downtown Dallas Neiman Marcus does tea. I did a baby shower there a number of years ago for a friend. You could check there.
and here's a link from chowhound about places for tea in Dallas. You could look into the places mentioned there.

And I can remember going to my cousin's bridal shower at Lady Primrose, such a wonderful place such an event.

I have not been, but the Ashton Hotel in downtown Fort Worth has tea.

I haven't been to the tea at the Ashton, but it is a beautiful newer boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Fort Worth. I think it would be a lovely place for tea. (Bill Gates recently stayed there! I'm fairly sure for the anonymity it afforded. Not the most expensive hotel in town, but certainly a small gem!)
Good luck!
Good luck!
