Tanque Verde -Tucson
As ever, I'm on the trail (unintentional pun) of information about vacations with teenagers. This would be for sometime next year. I understand that the place is very expensive but some sources say that it would be worth it for a few days.
Any recent experiences? Trip Adviser and other sites give it mixed reviews. Everything I've read is geared toward families with younger kids.

We have not been to this ranch, but you might try looking at luxurylinks.com. Ive seen this property listed there occasionaly.
We stayed at Rancho de las Osas last november, purchased package at luxlink website. Is about 1 hour sw of tucson near sasabe. We thought it was great, but it is very isolated.

We've stayed at Tanque Verde twice, and it really wasn't geared to kids, although older kids might like some aspects. It's small - usually about 80 people, most from Europe. Some riding, lots of pool action, bird banding, nature walks. Very lovely setting, and yes, expensive for some. More of an adult venue, and hopefully the owners will keep it that way.
