Tahoe weather mid June, can't figure out what to pack
We are going to be in the North Lake Tahoe area the middle of June and I just looked at the current weather forecast to get an idea of what to pack. I had no idea it would be that cold!
Any ideas of what type of clothing to pack? It will be part business/part pleasure trip so my husband and I will need some dressy clothes but had hoped for some pool time and maybe some long walks near the lake.

June weather is variable in Tahoe. Highs can range from the low 60's to mid 80's, and nights can range from comfortably cool to downright cold. Not sure what to tell you about packing, other than to bring a range of clothing if possible -- certainly a sweater or jacket.

Last week it was snowing - and this week it is in the low 70's. But that is only daytime. At night it could be below freezing.
But do remember that even low 60's will be swimming pool weather because of the altitude, thinner air and higher UV levels.
I don't know what sort of business trip it is -- but Tahoe is a pretty casual place. Even pit bosses in the major casinos don't always wear suits. Even the poshest restaurants will be full of folks in very casual dress.

As others have said, the weather is variable. As with any trip to the mountains, bring a jacket and long pants because it could get cold and even on warm days, it generally gets chilly after the sun goes down.
