Swimming in Las Vegas?

Has anyone visited there in the past few days? Is it warm enough to swim?
Need to know if I should bother booking a hotel with a great pool or not.
thanks

www.weather.com

Yesterday the high was 71. The next 10 days are forecast to be in the mid- to upper-60s. Even if pools are open (which many are not this time of year), you probably won't want to swim in them.

The highs were in the 60s this week, with lows in the 40s. However, I did see a couple of people swimming in outdoor pools when I looked out my hotel window, but I'm not sure the pools were even actually open. I sure wouldn't try it.

I was there last week and it was COLD (60's and 70's during the day and 50's at night). All the pools I saw were deserted. I would try somewhere with an indoor pool if you really want to swim

Most all the outdoor pools are closed in the winter when it can actually get quite cold.... freezing and an occasional flurry of that white stuff.

Find a hotel with an indoor pool or a spa with a lap pool.
