Sun Mountain Lodge WA state feedback

Looking for any feedback/opinions/experiences about Sun Mountain Lodge near Winthrop, Washington.
We're heading there for a xcountry family getaway between Christmas-New Years, the local guidebooks seems to love it, just looking for personal experiences.
Thanks!

I have not been there, but good friends went last year and loved it so much they are going back...and at the same time as you. They raved about it! Have a wonderful time.

We have not stayed at the Lodge, but we have skied the trail system - very extensive and varied - something for everyone.

Our friends daughter, niece and nephew loved it as much as the parents did.

Wanted to add a brief review now that we've been there and LOVED it! Just enough snow there when we arrived but snowed almost every day there. Stayed in the Mt. Gardner building which is very close to the lodge but feels a lot quieter. The whole property is on top of a mountain ridge with fantastic views all around. Great xcountry ski trails for older kids and adults, okay for younger if you plan it well and park the car at a trailhead so mostly downhill. SUPER children's programs and ski lessons!! Our kids are just 6 and 9, had a blast. Teenagers might get bored unless avid xctry skiers. We definitely hope to go back next year.
