Summer Wear

I have noticed that in my hometown this summer (the center of a major NE US metro area) many young men are wearing capri pants. They may not use that name, but that's what they are - pants cut aboutsix inches above the ankle. Just curious if they are popular where you live as well.

Yeah-last year we saw one guy in NJ wearing them to work every day!

Not the most masculine look for men.

Since men's shorts have been getiing longer and longer, I just think of them as extra-long shorts! I think they look cute, but no guy should be wearing them to work - bleh! - unless they are a bike messenger or something.

I was thinking the same thing about the shorts. Shorts have gotten so long that perhaps you are seeing the logical conclusion. I shopped for shorts recently and had a hard time finding a brand that wasn't so long that it came down to the middle of my knees.
