Summer trip to Maine??

We are going to Maine this summer, (can only get flights into Manchester, NH) and just need some advice. We want to drive to Bar Harbor and stay for 2 or 3 nights. Then move on down to Camden or Rockland for 2 nights and then down to Kennebunkport area for a night before heading back to Manchester for a flight home. Any recommendations on where to stay? We have two teenage girls. Thanks so much for any info.

We are staying at Windward House in Camden in a few weeks. It is quite close to the downtown area and looks lovely on their site.

The Bar Harbor Grand Hotel, hands down. Convenient location, spacious and clean rooms, free breakfast. And the staff is great.

grandymac - you will not be disappointed. I stayed in the Chart Room back in 2006 and it was a great experience for my first time in a B&B.

We love the Bass Cottage Inn. You're almsot on the water, walking distance to cottage street & the green.Fabulous breakfast and the rooms are gorgeous.

The Glenmoore-by-the-Sea just north of Camden has a variety of accomodations. With two teens you might prefer a larger unit with a deck and mini kitchen (frig and microwave). We were there in September a couple of years ago so didn't use the pool. Continental breakfasts were delivered to the door.
