There are armed soldiers in most busy subways stations, if that makes anyone feel better. I don't worry about it. If you let everything bother you and always ask,"What if...", you'll miss out in life.

I agree with Nordica...I will be visiting May 15, and yes, I am a little hestitant, but I will not let fear stop me from visiting such a great city and enjoying myself..
