Any opinions on the Holiday Inn Select in Stamford, CT?

It is a typical HI downtown hotel. Do you have a specific question?

overall quality of rooms, facilities, level of service, proximity to local mall, etc...

Since I have never stayed there I cannot comment on service, yet I've driven by numerous times and it seems fine from the outside. My family usually stays at the Marriott in Stamford and are quite satisfied with that facility. Both hotels are within walking distance to the Stamford Town Center Mall, the Marriott is across the street.

I also like that Marriott, and there are often good weekend rates on the Marriott website.
