St Thomas getting around

We are going to St Thomas next month. We have read and heard mixed reviews. Do we want to use mass transit??? Taxi's or rent a car??

Where are you staying?

A rental car is handy, including if you want to take a day trip to St. John.

Budget rental car lets you take cars to St. John, while some others may not.

Just start another thread on the Carib. board

Are you going to rent a car on St John? I can recommend Courtesy and also Conrad Sutton as decent car rental places on SJ.

We only go intransit from the airport in STT to the ferry over to SJ, so I can't help with taxi vs rental vs bus.
